Excellent (9/10)
Low Investment
Rare Relics OK
Ahri is considered one of the strongest and most versatile champions in the game. She performs exceptionally well at 3 stars with standard relics and becomes a dominant powerhouse at 6 stars, capable of consistent early victories.
Infinite Fortune (C6 Optimal)
  • Echoing Spirit icon
Provides the necessary copies of Ahri and cost reduction to replay her multiple times in a single turn.
  • Found Fortune icon
Draws cards and provides Epic items, which can hit Ahri's champion spell for powerful cost reductions and infinite loop potential.
  • Packed Powder icon
Reduces Ahri's cost upon Plunder, making her spells and replays significantly cheaper.

Strategy

This build is the definitive gold standard for Ahri, enabling an infinite recall loop. Ahri's C6 has her strike the nexus on recall, while Packed Powder reduces Ahri's cost upon Plunder, reducing her cost to 0 on replay.
Found Fortune draws cards and provides Epic items, which can hit Ahri's champion spell for powerful cost reductions. Echoing Spirit ensures a steady supply of Ahri copies, allowing for relentless recall loops that bypass enemy defenses. This build is also highly effective for the 10-star Zoe adventure.
The Gatebreaker Loop (Pre-C6)
  • Hymn of Valor icon
Generates Redoubled Valor on summon. Because Ahri retains buffs upon recall, casting this repeatedly allows her stats to grow exponentially before striking the Nexus.
  • Lost Chapter icon
Refills spell mana on summon. This is critical to pay for the Redoubled Valor spell generated by Hymn of Valor every time Ahri is played.
  • The Curator's Gatebreaker icon
Strikes the enemy Nexus on summon. When combined with Ahri's recall mechanics, this allows for repeated direct damage without needing to attack.

Strategy

This build leverages spell mana generation and direct damage to create powerful recall loops for players without her 6-star upgrade. Summon Ahri to strike the Nexus, cast Redoubled Valor to double her stats, recall her, and replay her to refill mana and strike the Nexus harder.
This bypasses enemy blockers entirely and provides an uninteractable win condition. Lost Chapter is critical to pay for the Redoubled Valor spell every time Ahri is played.
Champion Swarm
  • Oath of the Guardians icon
Shuffles five Level 2 champions into the deck with doubled stats. Ahri's low cost makes her an excellent vehicle for this relic. Additionally, Ahri can be recalled and replayed to retrigger this relic's effects.
  • Star Gem icon
Reduces the cost of allied champions by 2, allowing the generated champions to be played immediately.
  • Star Gem icon
A second Star Gem further reduces champion costs, enabling a massive board flood on the early turns.

Strategy

This build bypasses Ahri's standard recall loop to flood the board with discounted, double-stat Level 2 champions. Ahri's low base cost makes her an excellent vehicle for Oath of the Guardians.
The dual Star Gems reduce the cost of the generated champions by 4, enabling a massive board flood on the early turns. It provides a highly consistent early-game threat that does not rely heavily on drawing specific combo pieces.
Players disagree on the effectiveness of this strategy: While Ahri is one of the more effective users of oath-gems, she is arguably more effective with other builds even with rare relics only.
Stalker Control
  • Echoing Spirit icon
Ensures a constant supply of cheap Ahri copies and recall spells.
  • Stalker's Blade icon
Strikes the weakest enemy on summon, providing immediate board control.
  • Stalker's Blade icon
A second Stalker's Blade allows Ahri to remove two enemy units every time she is played.

Strategy

Designed for aggressive board control. Echoing Spirit ensures a constant supply of cheap Ahri copies and recall spells.
The dual Stalker's Blades allow Ahri to immediately remove two enemy units every time she is summoned. By repeatedly recalling and replaying her, this build systematically dismantles the enemy board while pushing damage.
Fated Overwhelm
  • Chosen by the Stars icon
Provides Fated, Augment, and Overwhelm. Since Ahri retains buffs, these stats stack quickly, and the Overwhelm helps close games if Elusive is not sufficient.
  • Hymn of Valor icon
Generates Redoubled Valor on summon to rapidly scale Ahri's stats.
  • Hidden Tome icon
Refills spell mana to ensure continuous casting of Redoubled Valor and recall spells.

Strategy

Preferred over Gatebreaker for faster scaling due to exponential growth from Fated and Augment. Chosen by the Stars provides Overwhelm, Regeneration, and Challenger once Ahri reaches 10 power.
Since Ahri retains buffs, these stats stack quickly. The Overwhelm keyword helps close games efficiently, securing victories without strictly needing Ahri to level up or rely solely on Elusive damage.
Constellation
Ahri's constellation is highly cohesive. Her 3-star power is a significant spike that makes her viable for almost all content. Her 6-star power is transformative, turning her into one of the fastest clearing champions in the game.

    Review
Her 2-star power allows recalled allies to retain their buffs. This is the cornerstone of her scaling strategies, ensuring that temporary buffs or relic effects (like Hymn of Valor) become permanent advantages.

    Review
The 'Hold It' power provides a Round Start stun. While useful for stalling and bypassing large blockers, her offensive capabilities are often so high that this defensive utility is secondary.

Causes recalled units to strike the enemy Nexus. This completely replaces the need for The Curator's Gatebreaker, freeing up a relic slot and enabling consistent early victories.
Gameplay Tips
  • The Recall Loop
Ahri's primary strength lies in her ability to be played, recalled, and played again. Because her 2-Star power allows her to retain permanent buffs, any stats granted by relics like Hymn of Valor persist. Prioritize finding cheap recall spells or items that reduce Ahri's cost to facilitate this loop.
  • Mana Management
Many of Ahri's best builds rely on generating resources on summon using relics like Lost Chapter or Hidden Tome. Ensure you do not spend all your mana before recalling Ahri, as you will need to pay her cost to replay her and trigger these effects again.
  • Drafting for Consistency
Ahri relies heavily on drawing her champion card to function. Aggressively mulligan for Ahri. During the adventure, prioritize powers like Counterfeit Copies or items that draw champions to ensure you always have access to her. If using Found Fortune, aggressively cut 1-cost cards from your deck to guarantee drawing her champion spell.
  • Avoiding Anti-Synergies
Do not equip Corrupted Star Fragment on Ahri. Consuming her supported ally prevents her Level 2 recall effect from triggering properly. Additionally, avoid powers like Trifarian Might, which kills units before Ahri can strike and recall them, and Broken Blade, which increases spell costs and ruins her recall loops.
  • The C6 Power Spike
If you have Ahri at 6 stars, her gameplay shifts towards pure speed. The Nexus strike on recall means you no longer need The Curator's Gatebreaker. You can instead focus on relics that generate more recalls or mana, such as Echoing Spirit or Found Fortune, to trigger the Nexus strike as many times as possible in a single turn.
