Annie is a versatile powerhouse who bridges the gap between Aggro and Control. While she faced a period of being overshadowed by newer powerhouses like Swain, her Constellation upgrade has revitalized her, turning her into a machine gun of skills and stuns. Her low cost allows for flexible build paths ranging from board-wiping control to relentless Nexus burn. She requires significant investment to reach the heights of the absolute top tier, but she remains one of the most effective champions for monthly challenges and specific nightmare mutators.
Shock & Awe (Optimal C6)
This is the centerpiece of her 6-star build. Because Annie's Constellation doubles skill activations, a single attack can fill the stack with skills, triggering this relic multiple times to decimate the enemy Nexus.
Essential for consistency. It guarantees a Turn 1 drop, reduces the cost of her Champion Spell (Disintegrate) to 0 or 1, and floods the deck with copies to replay if she dies.
Provides scaling and extra resources. Since Annie cycles through cards quickly, the generated Wild Cards help maintain momentum.
Strategy
This build maximizes the value of her 6-star power. By flooding the spell stack with doubled skills, you trigger Shock & Awe repeatedly for massive burn damage while keeping the board stunned.
Infinite Control
Generates a fleeting copy of Annie every round, which transforms into her Champion Spell, Disintegrate.
Reduces the cost of the generated Disintegrate, allowing you to remove threats for free or very cheap.
Ensures you always have mana to cast your control spells and the generated Disintegrate.
Strategy
A control-focused playstyle. You use the constant supply of Disintegrate to remove any unit the enemy plays, regardless of its stats, by pairing it with her built-in pings or chump blockers.
Machine Gun Burn
Generates 2 Warning Shots on summon.
More Warning Shots.
Boosts the damage of every Warning Shot and skill by 1.
Strategy
An aggressive strategy ideal for speed-running or lower-star adventures. Summon Annie, unload your hand of Warning Shots for massive face damage, let her die (or replace her if board is full), and repeat. Echoing Spirit can replace one Chase Gun for consistency.
Oath of the Guardians
Shuffles 5 Level 2 Champions with doubled stats into your deck.
Reduces the cost of the shuffled champions.
Further cost reduction.
Strategy
As a 1-cost champion, Annie is one of the best carriers for the Oath build. She comes down Turn 1, immediately enabling you to draw and play massive, discounted champions to carry the game.
Other Relic Options
Her signature relic. It leans into the 'Tibbers gameplay' fantasy, making her summon a massive bear. Fun and viable, though arguably slower than the pure burn builds.
A strong alternative for C6 builds, boosting the damage of her elemental skills (which are doubled) significantly.
Good for the control build, allowing you to pull enemies into favorable trades or set up Disintegrate kills easily.
Annie is incredibly flexible due to her low cost. She can effectively utilize almost any relic that benefits from early summoning or spell-slinging.
Constellation
Annie's constellation upgrades significantly boost her scaling, addressing her main weakness in high-tier adventures: low damage output. Manaflow is a key unlock, allowing for more aggressive starts.

Playful Trick
+1 Starting Mana. Round Start: Create a Fleeting Guile in hand.
Pyromania II
Your spells and skills deal 2 extra damage.
Raiding Party
When you damage the enemy Nexus, grant the top ally in your deck +1|+1.Review
A solid upgrade that helps manage the board, though some players find the specific reward (Raiding Party) a bit underwhelming compared to other potential powers.
Manaflow
Game Start: Get a mana gem.
Dark Child
Allied skills activate an additional time.Review
Double Trouble: This power doubles her skill activations. This is a massive power spike that turns her into a burn machine, but it introduces a new challenge: the spell stack limit (9). You can easily overflow the stack, obliterating your own spells if not careful.
Gameplay Tips
Manage the Spell Stack
With her 6-star power and relics like Shock & Awe, Annie generates an immense number of skills on attack. The game has a hard limit of 9 items on the stack. If you attack with a full board, you risk obliterating your own skills or spells. Be mindful of ordering and board width.
Disintegrate Mastery
Disintegrate kills units that take any damage. You don't need to break through their health pool. Pair it with the pings from her skills, Blade's Edge, or chump blocks to remove 100/100 units effortlessly.
Aggressive Trading
Because Annie is a 1-cost champion, do not be afraid to let her die, especially if you are running Echoing Spirit. Replaying her generates more Guiles (or Warning Shots with Chase Gun) and often provides more value than keeping a low-health Annie on the board.
Tibbers Timing
Don't forget that Tibbers is a stun and a board wipe. Pre-calculating when you will play your 6th spell to generate him can be the difference between stabilizing and losing to a wide board.
