Excellent (8.5/10)
Epic Relics
Low Investment
Diana is widely considered the premier Targon champion for speed and efficiency, capable of ending encounters as early as Turn 1. While she is an absolute powerhouse in standard content and Monthly Challenges, her reliance on raw stat scaling means she can struggle against the inflated health pools and 'stat checks' of the highest-tier Nightmare adventures.
Infinite Cascade
  • Echoing Spirit icon
The cornerstone of her best build. It shuffles copies of Pale Cascade into your deck and reduces their cost, allowing for near-infinite casting loops to trigger Nightfall and Fated repeatedly.
  • Chosen by the Stars icon
Provides Fated, Overwhelm, and Regeneration. Since you are targeting Diana repeatedly with Pale Cascade, this relic grants massive stats and the essential Overwhelm keyword to push damage through chump blockers.
  • Hidden Tome icon
Grants immediate spell mana to jumpstart the Pale Cascade chain on Turn 1. This ensures you aren't mana-gated when trying to scale rapidly.

Strategy

This build focuses on transforming Diana into a scaling monster immediately. By reducing the cost of Pale Cascade and generating mana, you can cycle through your deck, buff Diana to massive proportions, and utilize the Fated keyword from Chosen by the Stars for permanent growth.
Scout OTK
  • Galeforce icon
Grants Scout. When combined with Diana's native Double Attack (from her 3-star power), she strikes four times in a single attack turn (Scout attack x2 + Regular attack x2).
  • The Beast Within icon
Essential for granting Overwhelm to the entire board, ensuring that her four strikes connect with the enemy Nexus rather than getting stalled by blockers.
  • The Bounty Hunter's Renown icon
Provides raw stats that scale throughout the adventure. Since she attacks four times, every point of Power is quadrupled in effectiveness.

Strategy

A high-risk, high-reward speedrunning build. It aims to end the game the moment Diana drops. It is particularly effective in adventures with the 'Forest Workout' mutator (Double stats on strike), as the four attacks result in exponential stat growth.
Rare & Reliable
  • The Grand General's Counterplan icon
Ensures you generate a fleeting Pale Cascade every round, guaranteeing a Nightfall trigger and a card draw.
  • Archangel's Staff icon
Refills spell mana every turn, allowing you to cast the Pale Cascade generated by the Counterplan without sacrificing unit development.
  • Troll King's Crown icon
Grants Overwhelm to all units, a mandatory keyword for Diana to close out games efficiently.

Strategy

A solid value-oriented build for players without Epic relics. It sacrifices the explosive Turn 1 potential of the optimal builds for consistent resource generation and reliable turn-over-turn scaling.
Other Relic Options
  • Perfect Hex Core icon
A situational alternative to Hidden Tome. It generates upgrades each round, which can help trigger Nightfall in the mid-game if you run out of activators.
  • Crownguard Inheritance icon
Useful for rallying upon level-up, which Diana achieves very quickly, allowing for an immediate second attack phase.
  • Stalker's Blade icon
When paired with Double Attack, this triggers twice, effectively removing two enemies or striking the strongest enemy twice while growing Diana's stats.
Constellation
Diana is currently capped at 3 stars, lacking a high-tier Constellation expansion. Despite this, her 3-star baseline is incredibly potent, offering Double Attack and Quick Attack that allow her to compete with 6-star champions in most content.

Allies have "Nightfall: Grant me +2|+0."
  • Icon for Twilight Offering

    Twilight Offering

+1 Starting Mana. When you play your first card each round, refill 1 mana.

Allies have "Nightfall: Grant me +2|+0 and Quick Attack. If I already have Quick Attack, grant me Double Attack instead."
    Review
The combination of Quick Attack and Double Attack is lethal. It allows Diana to win combat safely against almost anything and pushes massive damage to the Nexus if she has Overwhelm. This power is the primary reason she remains S-tier for speed clears.
Gameplay Tips
Mastering Nightfall Sequencing
Diana requires a card to be played before her to activate her Nightfall effects (Challenger and Quick Attack). Always mulligan for a low-cost unit or spell (like Pale Cascade) to ensure you can activate her immediately. If you run Echoing Spirit, the cheapened Champion Spells make excellent activators.
The Quadruple Strike Interaction
If you equip Galeforce (Scout) and unlock Diana's Double Attack (via her 3-star power or leveling), she will attack four times in a single offensive turn. She attacks twice during the Scout action and twice during the regular attack action. Ensure you have Overwhelm to maximize this damage, as chump blockers can otherwise absorb all four hits.
Forest Workout Abuse
Diana is the premier champion for the 'Forest Workout' mutator (Grant +stats equal to power on strike). Because she strikes multiple times per combat due to Double Attack (and potentially Scout), her stats double exponentially within a single turn, often resulting in instant wins.
Managing the Stat Ceiling
In Nightmare adventures (5.5 stars and above), enemy units often drop with stats that exceed Diana's early scaling capabilities. In these scenarios, the Infinite Cascade build is superior to the Scout build, as you can utilize Challenger and Fated to pick off threats and scale defensively before going for the kill.
