Rare Relics OK
Elise is widely considered one of the strongest and fastest champions in the game, capable of ending encounters on Turn 1 or 2. She performs exceptionally well at 3 stars, making her very friendly for newer accounts, while her constellation upgrades transform her into an unstoppable aggressive force.
Maximum Lethality
The key to this build, providing Overwhelm, Impact.
Allows Elise and her Spiderlings to scale stats exponentially on attack.
Essential for the Scout keyword, enabling two attacks per turn. The recall effect prevents Elise from leveling up, which is strategically desirable to maintain her Spiderling summoning capabilities.
Strategy
This build maximizes Turn 1 damage output by stacking multiple offensive keywords. Cruel Experiments provides the necessary Overwhelm to push damage through chump blockers, while Fear-Cleaving Axe ensures rapid stat growth.
Queen's Consistency
Elise's signature relic grants Spirit, Impact, and Evolve. It serves as a powerful, slot-efficient upgrade to Dreams of Yordles.
Ensures Elise is drawn in the opening hand and provides copies of her 0-cost champion spell. Combined with Galeforce, it allows you to replay Elise repeatedly to trigger her 4-star power.
Provides Scout and recalls Elise, allowing you to replay her to generate new keywords via her 4-star Adaptation power.
Strategy
This setup focuses on consistency and abusing Elise's 4-star power. By recalling and replaying Elise, you can roll for potent keywords like Elusive or Spellshield while maintaining aggressive board presence.
Beast Swarm (Standard)
Grants Overwhelm and +1/+1 to the entire board, ensuring Spiderlings can push damage past blockers.
Enables the Scout attack strategy essential for Elise's tempo.
A highly effective common relic that grants Spirit and Impact, scaling the board's damage output.
Strategy
A balanced and reliable build that does not require specific paid or niche Epic relics besides The Beast Within. It focuses on global buffs to make the Spiderling swarm threatening.
F2P Scout Aggro
The most critical relic for Elise. If owned, it enables her core aggressive loop.
Provides cheap scaling for Elise and her summoned units.
Allows Elise to absorb keywords from units on board, potentially granting Evolve or defensive keywords like Spellshield.
Strategy
A accessible build for players with limited Epic relics. If Galeforce is unavailable, Corrupted Star Fragment combined with Greenglade Shadeleaf can serve as an alternative strategy to build a large, elusive unit.
Other Relic Options
Excellent for buffing Spiderlings with Overwhelm and Quick Attack, though it does not buff Elise herself.
Provides Challenger and Overwhelm, useful for controlling the board and pushing damage if other keyword sources are missing.
Allows Elise to consume her Spiderlings for stats and keywords, useful in builds without Galeforce.
Grants Elusive to supported allies, creating an alternative win condition through unblockable damage.
Avoid 'Guardian's Orb' as it often buffs Spiderlings instead of Elise. 'Death's Foil' and 'Spectral Scissors' are generally considered suboptimal compared to relics that enhance her swarm lethality.
Constellation
Elise is fully functional and top-tier at 3 stars. Her 4-star upgrade is a significant power spike that enhances her keyword generation, while her 6-star power serves more as a safety net for difficult mutations rather than a requirement for her core game plan.

Spider Queen
When allies attack, grant allied Spiderlings everywhere +1|+0.
Caught In The Webs
+1 Starting Mana. Round End: If an ally died this round, summon a Spiderling.
Spider Queen II
When allies attack, grant allied Spiderlings everywhere +1|+0 and the positive keyword of allied champions.
Adaptation
When you summon a champion, grant it two random keywords allies don't have.Review
Adaptation: This is a massive upgrade. Granting a random keyword on summon synergizes perfectly with Galeforce, allowing Elise to 'fish' for powerful keywords like Elusive or Spellshield by replaying her. It also improves her consistency by activating Evolve faster.
Manaflow
Game Start: Get a mana gem.
Recurring Nightmare
Game Start: Plant 3 Vilemaws as Nightmares in the enemy deck. When a Spider ally dies, plant a copy of it as a Nightmare in the enemy deck. When you play a Spider Terrify 1.Review
Spider Queen: Adds Vilemaws to the deck and grants a recursion mechanic where dying spiders plant Nightmares. While powerful for recovering from board wipes or stalling in long games (like the Baron adventure), it is often unnecessary for her standard aggressive strategy, which aims to win before these effects become relevant.
Gameplay Tips
Attack to Swarm
Elise's primary value is attacking to summon Spiderlings and transfer keywords. She is not meant to be a defensive unit; use her aggressively to flood the board.
Avoid Leveling Up
In many builds, especially those using Galeforce, it is strategically better to prevent Elise from leveling up. Her level 2 form loses the ability to summon a Spiderling on attack (in some configurations) and changes her keywords, which can disrupt her swarm synergy.
The Scout Advantage
Granting Scout to Spiderlings via Galeforce or keywords is her most potent win condition. The AI often struggles to block Scout attacks effectively, allowing for massive chip damage or lethal push on the first turn.
Mulligan for Elise
Elise is the engine of the deck. Aggressively mulligan to find her in your opening hand. Relics like Echoing Spirit are valuable specifically because they increase the consistency of drawing her Turn 1.
Manage Board Space
Be mindful of your board space. Elise needs room to summon Spiderlings to generate value. You can use Corrupted Star Fragment or attacks that kill your own units to free up space for new summons and keyword triggers.
