Lillia is widely regarded as an exceptionally powerful control champion who can completely lock the opponent out of the game. While her core mechanics are highly effective, her long animations can make matches feel tedious, though her maximum constellation upgrades transform her into a rapid combo powerhouse.
The Infinite Engine
Game Start: Create 7 copies of me in your deck. Champion Spells cost 1 less.
When I'm summoned, I strike the weakest enemy.
When I'm summoned, I strike the weakest enemy.
Strategy
This is considered Lillia's most consistent and dominant build. The strategy revolves around playing Lillia, putting her to sleep, and playing additional copies. Echoing Spirit ensures you draw her consistently and reduces the cost of her champion spell, allowing you to cycle her rapidly. The dual Stalker's Blades clear the enemy board every time she awakens or a new copy is summoned, effectively preventing the opponent from maintaining any board presence.
One-Turn Kill Combo
+2|+0. Support: If my supported ally is a follower, grant it Ephemeral and summon an exact copy of it attacking.
Support: Transform my supported ally into a random follower that costs 3 more.
+1|+0. While I'm attacking, I can't take damage or die.
Strategy
This highly aggressive build requires Lillia's 6-star power to function. When Lillia is played, her 6-star power summons an attacking ephemeral copy. Death's Foil ensures this ephemeral copy survives its strike. Transmogulator transforms another attacking unit into a larger threat, and Spectral Scissors duplicates that transformed unit, creating a massive, overwhelming board state on turn one.
Accessible Board Control
When I'm summoned, I strike the weakest enemy.
When I'm summoned, I strike the weakest enemy.
When I'm summoned, Stun the strongest enemy.
Strategy
A highly effective build for newer accounts utilizing only common and rare relics. Everfrost locks down the biggest enemy threat immediately upon summon, while the dual Stalker's Blades eliminate smaller units. As Lillia repeatedly goes to sleep and wakes up, she continuously stuns and strikes, maintaining absolute control over the combat phase.
Other Relic Options
When I'm summoned, grant Epic items to 3 random cards in your deck.
+1|+1 and when I kill a unit, summon a random Husk.
Power: Attacking Ephemeral allies can't take damage or die.
Support: Grant my supported ally Elusive.
When I'm summoned, grant me +1|+1 and a random keyword for each 30 cards in your deck.
Players disagree about Guardian's Orb on Lillia. Some consider it a powerful scaling tool that generates immense value through repeated summons, while others find it too inconsistent because it frequently applies items to her temporary landmarks instead of units. Succubus's Brand is excellent for accelerating her slow level-up condition, as the generated Husks count as summoned units. Avoid relics with 'Play' effects, such as Scales of Judgment, because Lillia's core loop relies on 'Summon' triggers when she awakens. Additionally, Starforged Gauntlets should be avoided, as putting a champion to sleep releases any captured units.
Constellation
Lillia is exceptionally strong at 3 stars, capable of clearing the hardest adventures through methodical board control. Her higher constellation upgrades primarily serve to accelerate her game plan, transforming her from a slow control champion into an aggressive combo powerhouse.

Sweet Dreams
When you summon a unit without playing it, grant it Spirit.
Too Sleepy
+1 Starting Mana. Round Start: Create a Blooming Bud in hand. If you already have one, reduce its cost by 1.
Sweet Dreams II
When you summon a unit without playing it, grant it Spirit twice.
Crush
Allies have Overwhelm.Review
The Overwhelm keyword provided here is debated. It is largely unnecessary for her control-oriented Stalker's Blade builds, but it becomes absolutely critical for pushing lethal damage in her 6-star One-Turn Kill setups. The burst-speed upgrade to her created spell found in this tier's progression is a massive consistency boost.
Manaflow
Game Start: Get a mana gem.Review
The additional starting mana is a massive power spike, allowing her to be deployed on turn one. Furthermore, her upgraded sleep mechanic allows her to wake up and fight on the following turn, significantly increasing her tempo and board presence.
Dreamwoven Spirits
Each round, the first time you play a unit, summon an Ephemeral copy of it attacking.Review
Transforms her from a methodical control champion into a speedrunning powerhouse. Summoning an attacking ephemeral copy opens up entirely new aggressive relic combinations and combo potential, drastically reducing the time it takes to complete adventures.
Gameplay Tips
- Accelerate Animation Speed
Lillia's sleep and awaken animations are notoriously long and can make games feel tedious. It is highly recommended to set the game speed to 4x in the options menu to mitigate this issue.
- Defensive Sleep Tactics
Her sleep mechanic can be used defensively on your own units. Turning an ally into a landmark protects them from enemy removal spells or board wipes like Buried in Ice, ensuring they return safely the following round.
- Beware the Deadly Modifier
On higher difficulty adventures with the Deadly modifier, avoid putting enemy units to sleep. Sleeping enemies will awaken with doubled stats on the following turn, making them significantly harder to deal with. Focus on removing them with strikes instead.
- The Infinite Rally Loop
If you manage to establish two copies of Lillia on the board, her level-up effect grants a Rally that bypasses the sleep state. This allows for continuous attacks and an effective infinite loop to close out the game.
- Avoid Landmark Destruction Nodes
Be extremely cautious of adventure nodes that interact negatively with landmarks (such as specific nodes in the Teemo adventure). Because Lillia turns into a landmark when asleep, these nodes can instantly destroy her and end your run.
