Morgana is widely considered one of the strongest and most consistent champions in Path of Champions. Her ability to completely lock down the enemy board with Shackles, combined with innate Lifesteal, makes her nearly impossible to kill once established. While her playstyle can be slower than aggressive champions, her reliability in clearing high-difficulty content (including Aurelion Sol and Nightmares) is top-tier. She performs exceptionally well at low investment (2-3 stars) and scales into a powerhouse with constellations.
Infinite Control
The core of her control engine. Creates a Fleeting Dark Binding in hand every round, allowing you to permanently lock down the strongest enemy unit and trigger her star powers consistently.
Refills spell mana every round, ensuring you can always cast the Dark Binding generated by GGC without sacrificing unit development.
Solves her main weakness of low stats. By consuming supported allies, Morgana grows massive, making her Lifesteal attacks fully heal your Nexus in a single strike. Also helps manage board space.
Strategy
This is the most reliable build for general play. Use GGC to generate Dark Bindings every turn to control the board. Use CSF to consume your support units (like the Lifesteal unit or Dolly) to transfer their stats and keywords to Morgana. This makes her a gigantic, unkillable drain tank.
Aspect of Stats (Speed Build)
Grants Fated, Augment, Empowered 10 (Overwhelm, Regen, Challenger). Synergizes perfectly with Targon's targeting spells to ramp her stats rapidly.
Creates 'Redoubled Valor' in hand on summon. When cast on Morgana, it triggers Fated/Augment from Chosen by the Stars and doubles her stats, usually hitting the Empowered 10 threshold immediately.
Doubles the stats granted by spells. When combined with Redoubled Valor, this results in exponential stat growth, allowing for OTK potential.
Strategy
This build addresses Morgana's 'slow' reputation by turning her into a massive Overwhelm finisher. Drop Morgana, cast Redoubled Valor, and swing for lethal damage. If Secret Technique is unavailable, Chemtech Duplicator is a strong alternative to double the Hymn cast at 6 mana.
Spell Spam Efficiency
Adds 7 copies of Morgana to the deck and reduces her champion spell cost by 1. Combined with her 4-star Spellslinger power, this makes her stuns incredibly cheap (often 1 mana).- Ensures a steady stream of champion spells to abuse the cost reduction.
Doubles all spells played after 6 mana. This applies double Curses to enemies, instantly maxing out their hand cost and locking them down completely.
Strategy
Ideal for players with her 4-star constellation. The cost reduction allows you to flood the board with Curses. Be careful of hand-clogging with this build, as generating too many cards can burn your draw.
Other Relic Options
A potent sustain tool. Because Morgana has Lifesteal, the entry damage from Wicked Harvest heals your Nexus for every enemy hit. Great for stabilizing against swarm decks.
Draws a card and grants an Epic item. Often used to fish for 'Blind Mystic', providing a 0-cost silence to neutralize threats.
Provides Spellshield. Useful in adventures with heavy removal, though Morgana can often tank damage via Lifesteal.
Constellation
Morgana is cohesive and powerful even at 3 stars. Her 4-star and 5-star upgrades are significant power spikes that smooth out her curve and mana efficiency. She is a Targon champion but often counts for Demacia in dual-region challenges.

Excellent. Grants 'Spellslinger' (Spells cost 1 less). This is a massive tempo boost for a spell-reliant control champion, allowing you to weave in Dark Bindings much easier.
Manaflow
Game Start: Get a mana gem.Review
Exceptional. Manaflow (+1 Starting Mana) allows you to play Morgana on Turn 2 if you bank spell mana or use cost-reduction relics. This dramatically speeds up her control game.
Share My Torment
When you Curse an enemy, grant allies +1|+0.Review
Underwhelming. Grants +1|+1 to allies when you target an enemy. While not detrimental, it promotes a 'go-wide' board strategy that conflicts with Morgana's typical 'tall' control playstyle. It is generally considered not worth the Nova Crystal investment compared to other champions.
Gameplay Tips
Mastering the Curse
Morgana's Curses (Shackles) are her primary tool. Note that applying a Curse counts as targeting an enemy. This means you can target an enemy with Spellshield to apply the Curse (and pop the shield), even if the spell's damage/stun is negated. Additionally, Curses stack cost; applying multiple shackles to the same unit increases the mana required to remove them, often making it impossible for the AI to clear them.
Managing the Enemy Hand
Curses are placed in the enemy's hand. If the enemy's hand is full (10 cards), Curses cannot be applied and will simply fizzle. Against decks that generate many cards (like Aurelion Sol), you may need to wait for them to play a card before casting your Dark Binding. Conversely, you can use this to your advantage to 'brick' the AI's hand with unplayable Curses, preventing them from drawing their win conditions.
The Lifesteal Stabilizer
Don't be afraid to take Nexus damage early. Morgana's Lifesteal is potent enough to heal you back to full HP in one or two strikes, especially if you use relics like Corrupted Star Fragment or Hymn of Valor to increase her attack. Prioritize setting up your board over chump blocking with key units.
Adventure Counters
Avoid the Seraphine adventure if possible; her power transforms your Curses into useful spells for the enemy, actively hurting your gameplan. Be cautious against Ezreal, as his cheap spells can make it easy for him to clear Curses or simply burn you down before you establish control.
