Morgana
View on WikiMorgana is widely recognized as an exceptionally powerful control champion capable of locking down the most difficult encounters. While her slow, methodical playstyle can lead to lengthy games, her consistency and innate lifesteal make her incredibly reliable.

Reduces the cost of Dark Binding.

Doubles all spells once you reach 6 mana.

Makes sure you never run out of Dark Binding.
Strategy
Morgana's typical gameplan is to chain the entire enemy board, stalling until the enemy board is completely immobile. Once Morgana comes into play, use her lifesteal to heal up against the helpless enemy board.
On the first few turns, make use of Dark Binding's 'Fast' speed by saving it for enemy attack declaration, so you don't waste it.

Grants extra draw and cheaper spells.

Used for the support champion.

Extra rerolls to look for the tools you need.
Strategy
Morgana is usually a very slow champion. At max investment, however, she can try to win as early as turn 1. This build requires her 6-star, her bonus star that gives Support champions the 'Focusing Crystal' item, and ideally the extra epic item on support champions.
The goal is to draft a 1-cost support champion and get Searing Brilliance to hit a cheap spell. With the extra mana from hidden tome, you try to boost the support champions stats to the moon with her c6 and Focusing Crystal. With some good luck with items on the support champ, you can start first-turn-killing partway through the adventure.
For this strategy, you can cut 'Dark Binding' from her deck, since it is too expensive to use for boosting stats via Focusing Crystal.

Provides consistent spell mana refill for continuous curse application.

Generates a Dark Binding each round.

Offers immediate board clear, applying lifesteal to damage dealt.
Strategy
Another version of the 'Control' build that shows how even without max investment or Epic relics, Morgana can deal with even the Zoe adventure.

Excellent for scaling her stats and gaining keywords like Spellshield from drafted allies, helping to close out games faster.

Provides crucial protection against removal and crowd control, especially in adventures with heavy disruption.
Morgana is an exceptionally strong champion whose base kit provides immense control. She is highly effective at 3 stars and does not require heavy investment to clear the hardest content. Her constellation upgrades primarily serve to speed up her inherently slow playstyle.

Spellslinger
Your spells cost 1 less.Review
This upgrade is highly impactful. By granting Spellslinger to reduce the cost of her spells, it allows her control tools to be played much earlier and more frequently, effectively eliminating her mana issues when combined with cost-reducing relics like Echoing Spirit.

Game Start: Get a mana gem.Review
Providing an extra mana gem is a significant tempo boost, allowing Morgana to be deployed as early as turn two. This is crucial for establishing early board control in higher-difficulty adventures.

Players disagree about Morgana's 6-star power. Some consider it a necessary quality-of-life upgrade that drastically speeds up her slow win condition by providing much-needed attack stats. While others find it underwhelming, noting that it only buffs units currently on the board, which contradicts her typical strategy of maintaining a small, controlled board.
- Targeting Bypasses Spellshield
Morgana's curse application triggers on any spell that targets an enemy, including multi-target spells. Because the curse is applied via her champion power and not the spell itself, it bypasses Spellshield entirely.
- Hand Size Management
A full enemy hand prevents curses from being added. Wait for the AI to play cards and free up hand space before casting your shackling spells to ensure the curses take effect.
- Wicked Harvest Sustain
Morgana's innate lifesteal applies to the damage dealt by Wicked Harvest. Playing her will heal your Nexus for massive amounts, allowing you to easily recover from early chip damage and making her incredibly resilient.
- Avoid Discard Powers
Do not take adventure powers or items that force the enemy to discard cards (like Brain Worm). These effects can randomly discard the curses you have placed in their hand, undermining your primary control strategy.
