Norra
View on WikiGood (7.5/10)
Low Investment
Rare Relics OK
Norra is widely considered a very strong and fun champion, particularly at 3 stars where she requires low investment to clear difficult content. However, her constellation upgrades beyond 3 stars, especially her C6, are highly controversial and often viewed as underwhelming or even detrimental.
Transmogulator Combo
Transforms a portal unit into a larger follower.
Copies the newly transformed large follower.
Consumes the copied follower to grant Norra massive stats.
Strategy
This build relies on a specific interaction order. Transmogulator turns a weak portal unit into a larger follower. Spectral Scissors then creates an attacking copy of that large follower. Finally, Corrupted Star Fragment allows Norra to consume the copy, gaining massive stats. This build is highly effective at all star levels but is noted to be negatively impacted by her C6 power, which summons champions instead of followers.
Oath Gems
Shuffles 5 level 2 champions into the deck and doubles their stats.
Allied champions have +1|+1 and cost 2 less.
Allied champions have +1|+1 and cost 2 less.
Strategy
Because Norra is a low-cost champion, she can be played early to trigger Oath of the Guardians. The double Star Gems then heavily discount the shuffled champions, allowing you to flood the board with powerful, buffed level 2 champions. This is considered one of her most reliable builds for clearing high-difficulty content at 3 stars.
C6 Spell Spam
When you play a champion, it strikes the weakest enemy.
When you play or level up a champion, refill your spell mana.
Creates copies of Norra in the deck and discounts her champion spell.
Strategy
This build is specifically tailored for a C6 Norra. Her C6 power summons champions from portals. When these champions are summoned, they trigger Hidden Tome to refill spell mana. Scales of Judgment provides crucial removal by having played champions strike enemies. Echoing Spirit ensures you have plenty of champion spells to spam, creating a loop of portal generation, mana refill, and board control.
Aggressive Overwhelm
Consumes supported ally for stats.
Grants allies Overwhelm and stats.
Grants stats and summons a Husk on kill.
Strategy
A strong build that doesn't rely on Epic relics (though The Beast Within is an Epic upgrade over Troll King's Crown). Norra floods the board with portal units, which she then consumes with Corrupted Star Fragment to grow into a massive threat. The Beast Within provides the necessary Overwhelm to push damage through chump blockers. Succubus's Brand provides additional value and keywords from Husks.
Other Relic Options
Norra's signature relic. While it provides a useful +1 starting mana, many players find its Impact effect underwhelming compared to other options, though it sees use in specific aggressive or spell-spam builds.
Useful for ensuring you have spell mana to cast Norra's champion spell or other portal-generating spells, especially before reaching C5.
Provides Spellshield, which is crucial for protecting Norra since her game plan heavily relies on her staying on the board to generate portals.
A good common alternative to Echoing Spirit. It helps ensure you draw Norra early and the created copies count towards her level-up condition.
Norra is quite flexible with relics. While she has powerful Epic combinations, she functions exceptionally well with Rare relics like Corrupted Star Fragment and Oath of the Guardians.
Constellation
Norra is widely considered one of the strongest 3-star champions in the game, requiring very low investment to clear difficult content. However, her constellation upgrades beyond 3 stars are highly controversial. Many players feel her later nodes offer minimal power increases, and her C6 is frequently cited as a downgrade or 'sidegrade' that disrupts her synergy with certain relics.

Three Sugars
When you summon a created ally, grant it +1|+1.
Found Friends
+1 Starting Mana. Game Start and when you play a card with base cost 4+: Plant a Mysterious Portal in the top 4 cards of your deck.
Six Sugars
When you summon a created ally, grant it +3|+1.
Woosh!
Game Start: Summon a Vastayan Disciple.Review
Provides a free blocker and helps accelerate her level-up condition. While useful for early board presence, it is generally considered a weak C4 compared to other champions and can sometimes clutter the board, negatively impacting builds that rely on board space.
Manaflow
Game Start: Get a mana gem.Review
The extra mana is crucial for builds that rely on casting her champion spell early or utilizing relics like Hidden Tome. It significantly smooths out her early game.
Surprise Summoning
Your portals summon level 2 champions.Review
Highly controversial. It replaces portal followers with Level 2 champions. While this can lead to fun, high-roll moments, many players consider it a downgrade because random champions often lack synergy, don't trigger their level-up effects, and ruin the effectiveness of relics like Spectral Scissors. It is generally not recommended to invest in this node unless you are specifically building around it with relics like Scales of Judgment.
Gameplay Tips
- Manage Board Space
Norra generates units rapidly. Be mindful of your board space, especially in easier adventures where units don't die as quickly. Prioritize playing free portal units over cards from your hand to avoid overdrawing.
- Protect Norra
Norra's engine relies on her staying on the board. Draft defensive spells or use relics like Banshee's Veil to protect her from enemy removal, as losing her can stall your game plan significantly.
- Synergize with Trifarian Might
The 'Trifarian Might' power is exceptionally strong with Norra at 3 stars. Her 3-star power buffs portal units to 5+ power, causing them to immediately strike the weakest enemy upon summoning, providing incredible board control.
- Avoid Shadow Assassin
Do not draft the 'Shadow Assassin' power (grants Elusive but reduces power). Norra relies on her units to trade and push damage; reducing their power hinders her ability to close out matches.
- Level Up Condition
Norra levels up when you play created cards. Remember that her champion spell counts as a created card, and relics like The Chameleon's Necklace or Echoing Spirit create copies of her that also progress her level-up.
