Low Investment
Rare Relics OK
Norra is widely considered one of the best 'low investment' champions in the game, capable of clearing endgame content comfortably at just 3 stars. While she is powerful and fun, her reputation suffers slightly due to her higher constellations (4-6 stars) being viewed as sidegrades or even detrimental to certain playstyles, rather than strict power upgrades.
Oath of the Gems
Shuffles 5 Level 2 Champions into your deck and doubles their stats. Norra's low cost allows you to play her immediately to activate this.
Allied champions have +1|+1 and cost 2 less. Stacking two of these provides massive buffs to the champions generated by Oath.- A second copy maximizes the cost reduction and stat buffs for your champion army.
Strategy
This build transforms Norra from a portal spammer into a champion cheat engine. It is particularly effective at 6-stars, where her portals summon Level 2 Champions instead of followers; these summoned champions immediately receive the buffs from your Star Gems, creating an overwhelming board of high-stat units instantly.
The Board Eater
Essential for managing board space. Allows Norra to consume summoned units for stats, preventing the board from getting locked by portals.
Her signature relic. Reduces the cost of high-level champions created by portals and grants Impact to created allies.
Grants Overwhelm to the entire board, ensuring your wide board of units can push damage for a lethal finish.
Strategy
This build focuses on Norra's core mechanic of flooding the board. Since Norra can easily fill all 6 slots, Corrupted Star Fragment is critical to consolidate stats onto Norra and free up space for more portal summons. The Beast Within ensures those stats translate into Nexus damage.
Transmogulator Combo
On Attack: Transforms Norra into a random follower that costs 3 more. This creates a high-cost unit.
Summons a copy of the attacking unit (the transformed high-cost unit) attacking.- Consumes the supported ally to transfer stats and keywords, consolidating the power of the transformed units.
Strategy
A specific order-dependent combo build. Norra transforms into a powerful unit via Transmogulator, is copied by Spectral Scissors, and utilizes Corrupted Star Fragment to scale rapidly. This 'goofy' but effective strategy allows Norra to punch well above her weight class.
Budget Portal Spam
- The most important Rare relic for Norra to prevent board-locking and enable scaling.
Refills spell mana each turn, allowing you to consistently cast 'Eclectic Collection' or other spells.
Creates copies of Norra in your deck, which count as 'Created' cards for her level-up condition and augments.
Strategy
An accessible build using only Rare relics. The focus is on using Corrupted Star Fragment to grow Norra while Archangel's Staff ensures you have mana to maintain portal generation.
Other Relic Options
Synergizes exceptionally well with her 6-star power. Summoning a Level 2 Champion from a portal triggers the 'On Level Up' effect, refilling your mana instantly.
Allows for infinite portal generation by creating copies of her champion spell, though often considered overkill compared to other options.- Excellent for aggressive leveling and damage, though it loses effectiveness if you unlock her 6-star power.
Constellation
Norra is famous for peaking at 3 stars. Her base power level is so high that she can clear almost all content without further investment. Her 4, 5, and 6-star upgrades are controversial; many players view them as sidegrades that dilute her pool or actively hinder certain relic strategies (like Spectral Scissors).

Gameplay Tips
Manage Your Board Space
Norra floods the board faster than almost any other champion. Without a way to clear space (like Corrupted Star Fragment), you may find her free units wasted.
The C6 Trade-Off
Before upgrading to 6 stars, understand that it changes her playstyle. You lose access to followers (and their utility keywords) in exchange for raw stats from Champions. This makes relics like Spectral Scissors worse (as you are copying champions without items) but makes Star Gem and Hidden Tome significantly stronger.
Aggressive Mulligan
Always mulligan for Norra. Her engine relies entirely on her being on the board to plant portals. Turn 1 or Turn 2 Norra is essential for a smooth run.
Leverage Created Cards
Norra levels up by playing Created cards. Relics like The Chameleon's Necklace or powers that generate cards help speed this up. Once leveled, her portal generation increases significantly, securing the win through sheer value.
