High Investment Required
Epic Relics
Spirit Blossom Ahri is a powerful but resource-intensive champion. While she offers a unique and fun 'spell-slinger summoner' playstyle, her full potential is heavily gated behind high-tier constellation upgrades and specific Epic relics. At lower investments, she can feel slow and mana-hungry, but with the right setup (particularly the 'Strength of Stone' build), she becomes a durable powerhouse capable of clearing the hardest content.
Titan of the Spirits
The cornerstone of her strongest build. It converts her units' high health into Power, making her Foxfires and Ahri herself incredibly tanky and hard-hitting. This synergizes perfectly with the 'Spirit Armor' constellation power (+0/+3 to summoned allies).
Essential for starting with +1 Mana. With Strength of Stone and Luminous Orb, Ahri easily meets the Titanic threshold to activate this effect.
Provides the necessary Health buff to trigger Starforged Gauntlets and further scales damage via Strength of Stone.
Strategy
This build turns Ahri into a formidable tank that deals damage based on Health. It mitigates her vulnerability to aggro decks and allows her to stat-check most encounters. Prioritize the 'Spirit Armor' rune in her constellation to maximize this synergy.
Secret Technique Caster
Doubles the stats granted by her spells, significantly accelerating the scaling of her Foxfires and 'The Final Parting' spell.
Grants Overwhelm to all allies. Since her Ephemeral units can grow quite large, this ensures damage pushes through to the Nexus.
Provides immediate mana on summon to begin her spell-slinging loops. Often preferred over Archangel's Staff for the burst of mana.
Strategy
Focus on casting spells to buff your Ephemeral units. Secret Technique makes your stats ramp up twice as fast, while The Beast Within ensures you can close out games. This build is excellent for players who prefer a spell-heavy playstyle over the Formidable tank approach.
Signature Swarm
Her signature relic. While often considered weaker than generic options like The Beast Within, it provides specific synergy if you have her Legendary Rune unlocked.
Doubles her attack trigger, summoning more units and dealing massive burst damage.
Allows Ahri to consume her Ephemeral summons to grow her own stats permanently, preventing wasted stats when they die.
Strategy
A more aggressive build that focuses on flooding the board and sacrificing units for power. This build is significantly better if you have unlocked her Legendary Rune.
Budget Control
Provides the mana needed to cast her expensive spells every turn.
Ensures you always have a copy of her champion spell in hand for removal and unit generation.
Refills spell mana on summon to help stabilize the early game.
Strategy
A reliable setup for players without Epic relics. Play Ahri, control the board with her spells, and slowly grind out the opponent.
Other Relic Options
Excellent for doubling her 5-cost spell in the late game, creating massive boards instantly. Mandatory for infinite scaling strategies.
A strong alternative to Luminous Orb in the Titanic build, providing mana refill on summon.
Enables an 'infinite recall' combo at C6 by making Ahri cost 0 mana, allowing for OTK loops.
Avoid 'Essence Theft' (the original Ahri relic); it has no synergy with Spirit Blossom Ahri's kit.
Constellation
Spirit Blossom Ahri's constellation is powerful but controversial due to its layout. Key power spikes are often gated behind expensive nodes, and her progression feels slower than other champions. The 'Spirit Armor' rune node is a massive power spike and should be prioritized.

Lingering Essence
When you play a spell that costs 1 or more, summon a Fox-Fire.
Guided Spirits
+1 Starting Mana. Ephemeral allies have Challenger.
Lingering Essence II
When you play a spell that costs 1 or more, summon a Fox-Fire with stats equal to the cost of the spell.Review
A significant upgrade that adds consistency to her kit. It allows her to perform well in mid-tier adventures, though she may still feel slow without specific relics.
Phantom Pranks
When an ally dies, deal 1 to the enemy Nexus.Review
A solid speed upgrade that helps smooth out her gameplay, but it is not a game-changer on its own.
Manaflow
Game Start: Get a mana gem.Review
The Manaflow node here is critical for high-cost builds but is extremely expensive (50 Star Crystals). This node often acts as a roadblock for progression.
Circle of Life
When an ally dies, refill 1 mana.Review
Provides mana refund when units die. While strong for enabling infinite combos, some players find it underwhelming ('win-more') compared to other C6 powers because the mana comes after combat, limiting reactive play.
Gameplay Tips
-
Avoid 0-Cost Spells: Be very careful with powers like 'Spellslinger' or items that reduce spell costs. Spirit Blossom Ahri's passive requires you to play a spell that costs 1 or more mana to summon a Foxfire. If a spell costs 0, you lose your free unit.
-
Strength of Stone Synergy: The relic Strength of Stone is widely considered her Best-in-Slot for stability. It converts her units' high health into Power (Formidable). This synergizes incredibly well with the 'Spirit Armor' constellation power, which grants +0/+3 to summoned allies.
-
Transmogulator Interaction: The Transmogulator relic can remove the 'Ephemeral' keyword from her Foxfires, turning them into permanent units. However, if the Ephemeral keyword is granted by an external source (like Spectral Scissors), it may persist.
-
Mana Hungry: Ahri is very mana-dependent. Relics or powers that generate mana (like Starforged Gauntlets, Hidden Tome, or Archangel's Staff) are highly recommended to prevent her from stalling out.
