Taliyah

High Investment Required
Epic Relics
Taliyah requires significant investment to reach her full potential and demands careful board space management. While she can execute powerful, game-winning combos, many find her landmark-heavy playstyle clunky and difficult to pilot effectively.
The Stoneweaver Printer
Game Start: If I'm in deck or in hand, summon a Stormcarved Spire with Countdown 4: Summon me.
All your spells and skills deal 1 extra damage.
All your spells and skills deal 1 extra damage.
Strategy
This build maximizes Taliyah's skill damage output. Frozen Tomb guarantees an allied landmark on the board. When Taliyah is played, her ability duplicates the Frozen Tomb. This results in one Taliyah and two Frozen Tombs that will each summon copies of Taliyah, ultimately resulting in three Taliyahs on the board. The double Luden's Tempest massively amplifies the damage of their overlapping Threaded Volley skills.
Titanic Ramp
Power: If I'm in deck or in hand and Titanic, +1 Starting Mana. You can find Level 2 Champions when you Invoke or Manifest.
+0|+3 and Sharpsight.
Game Start: If I'm in deck or in hand, summon a Stormcarved Spire with Countdown 4: Summon me.
Strategy
Luminous Orb pushes Taliyah's stats to the Titanic threshold, activating Starforged Gauntlets for an extra starting mana gem. This allows her to start the game with 4 mana. Because she costs 5 mana, she cannot be played on the first turn, but this ramp significantly accelerates her deployment. Once played, her ability duplicates the Frozen Tomb, eventually resulting in three Taliyahs on the board to dominate the mid-game.
Burst Speed Board Control
When I level up, Stun all enemies.
When I level up, Rally.
All your spells and skills deal 1 extra damage.
Strategy
This accessible build uses only Rare relics and focuses on Taliyah's level-up condition (summoning 5+ landmarks). By timing her level-up, you can trigger a board-wide stun and a Rally simultaneously, allowing for a devastating attack while the enemy board is incapacitated. Luden's Tempest provides a consistent boost to her skill damage.
Other Relic Options
Power: Your elemental spells and Skills deal 2 extra damage.
When I'm summoned, create 2 random 7+ cost units from your regions and reduce its cost by my base cost.
Plunder: I cost 2 less. I have +1|+1 for each different round you've damaged the enemy Nexus.
When you play a spell, if you have 6+ mana gems, copy it with the same targets.
Icon of Valhir is an excellent alternative to Luden's Tempest for boosting her elemental skill damage, particularly at higher constellation levels. Portal Pals is a strong option before reaching 6 stars to generate high-value units. Packed Powder can be combined with Swain's Raven Army to discount her cost for an earlier summon. Chemtech Duplicator is considered a trap; Taliyah's deck lacks spells worth copying, making it a low-impact choice.
Constellation
Taliyah's early star powers are crucial for her viability, transforming her from a struggling deck into a functional stat-based powerhouse. She requires careful planning to ensure her landmarks do not completely clog the board.

Good Morning, Grumpy
Game Start: Summon a Hibernating Rockbear.
Recycled Stone
+1 Starting Mana. When an allied landmark is destroyed, grant allies +1|+0.
Good Morning, Grumpy II
Game Start: Summon a Hibernating Rockbear. Allies have +1|+1 and Overwhelm.Review
An essential upgrade. Granting Overwhelm to all allies solves her primary issue of being easily blocked by small units, turning her board into a genuine lethal threat.
Supple Stone
Each round, the first time you play a landmark, refill mana equal to its cost.Review
Provides excellent tempo by refunding mana the first time a landmark is played each round. This acts as a mana deposit, smoothing out her early game and allowing for stronger development turns.
Manaflow
Game Start: Get a mana gem.
Throw Another Rock!
When an ally attacks, it plays Threaded Volley. Your spells and skills deal 1 extra damage for each allied Landmark.Review
Players disagree about Taliyah's 6-star power. Some consider it incredibly strong for trivializing content with massive damage. While others find it frustrating because generating too many skills can overfill the 10-skill stack limit when multiple Taliyahs are on the board, leading to wasted damage and anti-synergy with her duplication mechanics.
Gameplay Tips
- Manage Board Space
Landmarks consume valuable board slots and cannot attack or block. Plan your summons carefully to ensure you have enough room for your units, especially when duplicating landmarks like Frozen Tomb.
- Fill the Spell Stack
During a lethal attack, multiple Taliyahs triggering their Threaded Volley skills can completely fill the 10-slot spell stack. This prevents the AI from playing Fast or Burst spells in response, securing the win without counterplay.
- Keep Starting Landmarks
Do not cut cheap landmarks like Ancient Preparations from your deck at healer nodes. They are vital for early Predicts, card draw, and triggering her mana refund powers to accelerate her level-up condition.
- Skill Damage Classification
Taliyah's skill damage counts as combat damage. It will not trigger effects or level-up conditions that specifically require non-combat damage.
