Epic Relics
High Investment Required
Paid Relics
Teemo is a polarizing champion who has shifted from a top-tier powerhouse to a niche strategist following significant nerfs to his core relics. While he remains capable of clearing difficult content like Lissandra through exponential Puffcap damage, he suffers from extreme fragility and relies heavily on specific Epic relics to mitigate his low defensive stats. His fun factor remains high for players who enjoy alternate win conditions (milling/traps), but he requires precise piloting and substantial loadout investment to perform consistently.
Scout Controller
Essential for consistency. It allows you to spam Teemo's champion spell and ensures you can redraw him after Galeforce recalls him to the deck.
Provides the Scout keyword, allowing Teemo to attack twice per round. This doubles his Puffcap planting speed, accelerating his exponential win condition.
Best-in-Slot for board control. Since Teemo is cheap and his deck contains 3+ cost cards (or cost-reduced cards), this relic stuns enemies and accelerates trap generation via the Terrify keyword.
Strategy
This build maximizes Teemo's elusive aggression while mitigating the downside of Galeforce. By shuffling copies with Echoing Spirit, you ensure Teemo is always available to play. Harmless Scarecrow adds a layer of control, stunning enemies to protect your Nexus while you plant thousands of mushrooms.
Oath of the Bandle Scouts
Shuffles five Level 2 champions into your deck, doubling their stats. Teemo's low cost allows you to play him early to trigger this effect immediately.
Reduces the cost of the champions generated by Oath, allowing you to flood the board with powerful units.
Further cost reduction and champion buffing. Stacking two gems ensures the generated champions are cheap enough to play alongside Teemo.
Strategy
A 'cheese' strategy that pivots away from Puffcaps to focus on generating massive stats. As a 1-cost champion, Teemo is one of the best carriers for Oath, enabling you to play over-statted level 2 champions as early as Turn 1 or 2 to dominate the board.
The Printer
Grants Epic items to cards in your deck on summon. Because Teemo is cheap and elusive, you can summon him repeatedly to stack items on your deck.
Doubles the item generation. With two Orbs, every summon creates a massive value engine.
Provides an extra life. If Teemo dies, he revives, triggering the Guardian's Orbs again. This also allows for 'Shadow Totem' or 'Stabilize' synergies to print multiple copies.
Strategy
This build focuses on deck manipulation and value generation. By equipping Guardian Angel, you can aggressively trade Teemo or let him die to revive and re-trigger his summon effects, rapidly buffing your entire deck with Epic items.
Other Relic Options
Viable if stacked (x2 or x3) or paired with Bounty Hunter's Renown. It allows Teemo to strike the Nexus on play, planting mushrooms immediately without attacking.
Multiplies the damage dealt by traps. Effective if you want to kill the enemy with fewer mushrooms rather than planting more.
A defensive option for adventures where the enemy has aggressive turn 1 attacks, protecting your Nexus while you set up.
Constellation
Teemo relies heavily on his base 1-3 star powers, which focus on simple Puffcap planting mechanics. Unlike newer champions, his base form does not currently have access to game-breaking high-tier constellation powers, limiting his ceiling in Nightmare adventures compared to his Spirit Blossom counterpart.

Armed and Ready
When allies attack, plant 5 Poison Puffcaps in the enemy deck.Review
Provides basic Puffcap generation on round start. It is a slow steady burn that helps activate Plunder effects or chip damage.
Strike Swiftly
+1 Starting Mana. When your opponent draws a card with one or more Poison Puffcaps on it, create a Fleeting Poison Dart in hand. It is Burst speed.Review
The +1 Mana is standard, but the secondary effect of creating a Poison Dart is vital for removal and triggering his level-up condition.
Armed and Ready II
When allies attack, plant 10 Poison Puffcaps in the enemy deck.Review
The key power spike. Striking the Nexus plants Puffcaps equal to the damage dealt. This exponential scaling is what allows Teemo to one-shot bosses with thousands of health once momentum is built.
Gameplay Tips
Exponential Math
Teemo's strength lies in doubling. If you plant 5 mushrooms, then double them to 10, then 20, the damage ramps up slowly. However, if you hit the Nexus for huge damage (e.g., with Gatebreaker or buffs) and plant 100 mushrooms instantly, the next double puts you at 200. Prioritize striking the Nexus over trading units.
Trap Damage Interaction
Relics like Luden's Tempest increase the damage of each trap drawn. Since Puffcaps are traps, Luden's effectively doubles your output. This applies to skills and spells, but the trap interaction is the most potent for Teemo.
Turn 1 Importance
Teemo is a 1-cost unit. Always hard mulligan for him. If you do not play him on Turn 1, you lose significant tempo. His low health makes him vulnerable to removal, so playing him early before the enemy has mana for removal spells is often the safest play.
Nexus Strike Mechanics
Teemo's ability triggers on Nexus Strike. This works even if the damage is reduced to 0 (e.g., against a Tough Nexus or invulnerability shields), as long as the strike connects. However, he must physically strike; being blocked prevents the plant.
