Epic Relics
Paid Relics
Players disagree about Teemo's overall viability. Some consider his mushroom-stacking gameplay highly effective for bypassing difficult encounters, while others find his lack of defensive options and reliance on specific relics to be a significant drawback. He requires careful piloting and specific setups to clear Nightmare-level content.
Optimal Trap Generation
Triggers its Terrify effect when 3+ cost cards are played, forcing the opponent to draw and activating traps rapidly.
Ensures consistent access to Teemo by creating additional copies in the deck.
Grants Scout, allowing Teemo to attack multiple times per round to maximize mushroom generation before recalling.
Strategy
This build maximizes Teemo's board presence and trap generation. Echoing Spirit ensures you consistently draw Teemo, while Galeforce allows for multiple attacks per round to plant mushrooms. Harmless Scarecrow provides immense value by triggering Terrify, which forces the opponent to draw cards and rapidly activates the planted traps.
The Printer
Revives Teemo when he is removed, creating a resilient board presence.
Stacks with the first Guardian Angel to ensure multiple revives and copies.
Adds Epic items to the deck every time a copy of Teemo is summoned.
Strategy
Designed for high-difficulty encounters where Teemo struggles to survive. By intentionally allowing Teemo to be removed, Guardian Angel revives him, creating multiple copies on the board. This rapidly multiplies the number of mushrooms planted per attack. Guardian's Orb adds significant value to the deck with each subsequent summon.
Oath Support
Shuffles doubled champions into the deck upon playing Teemo.
Reduces the cost of the champions generated by Oath of the Guardians.
Further reduces the cost of allied champions, allowing for massive tempo plays.
Strategy
This setup bypasses Teemo's standard mushroom win condition entirely. By playing Teemo early, Oath of the Guardians shuffles doubled champions into the deck, and the two Star Gems reduce their cost. This provides a massive tempo advantage to overwhelm the opponent with high-value units.
Other Relic Options
While designed for his Spirit Blossom variant, this relic grants Spellshield and plants additional mushrooms on damage, providing both protection and scaling.
Provides a consistent source of stats for Teemo, allowing him to grow into a large threat over the course of a game.
This relic is ineffective for Teemo's primary game plan. Mushrooms are classified as traps, not spells or skills, so they do not benefit from the damage increase.
This relic has negative synergy with The Curator's Gatebreaker. Teemo will attempt to strike using his base power before the Formidable keyword applies, resulting in zero damage.
Constellation
Teemo currently lacks a 6-star constellation upgrade, which limits his scaling in Nightmare adventures compared to newer champions. Players are highly anticipating his full constellation release to address his defensive weaknesses.

Armed and Ready
When allies attack, plant 5 Poison Puffcaps in the enemy deck.
Strike Swiftly
+1 Starting Mana. When your opponent draws a card with one or more Poison Puffcaps on it, create a Fleeting Poison Dart in hand. It is Burst speed.
Armed and Ready II
When allies attack, plant 10 Poison Puffcaps in the enemy deck.
Gameplay Tips
- Countering Twisted Fate
Teemo is exceptionally effective against the Twisted Fate adventure. If a mushroom deals 2 or more damage (often achieved through powers), Twisted Fate is forced to draw an additional card, rapidly depleting his deck and causing him to lose by decking out.
- Beware of Tough Nexuses
Encounters with the "Tough" Nexus modifier completely neutralize Teemo's primary win condition. Because each mushroom deals 1 damage individually, Tough reduces the damage of every single mushroom to zero, regardless of how many are drawn.
- Immovable Object Modifier
Avoid relying on massive mushroom stacks against the "Immovable Object" modifier. This effect caps the maximum damage the enemy Nexus can take per round, severely limiting Teemo's burst potential and rendering high trap counts ineffective.
- Drafting Strategy
Prioritize drafting cheap card draw for yourself and effects that force the opponent to draw cards. This accelerates the rate at which the enemy triggers your planted traps.
- Trap Damage Mechanics
Remember that powers granting additional damage to spells and skills do not increase mushroom damage, as mushrooms are classified as traps. However, powers like "Perfection" can successfully boost individual mushroom damage thresholds.
