Despite being a very unpopular champion, Vi is much stronger than people give her credit for. Even at 3* with Strength of Stone, she is able to stack up a tremendous amount of 'Impact' and obliterate the enemy nexus through blockers.

Initiates a free attack upon play, triggering multiple strike and Impact effects.

Strikes the Nexus directly upon being played.

Provides a second direct Nexus strike.
Strategy
This build capitalizes on Vi's 6-star power. By accumulating stats in hand, Vi drops onto the board with massive power.
Cease and Desist initiates a free attack immediately upon play, which triggers the Impact damage from the Gatebreakers multiple times. This effectively bypasses the attack reduction of the Gatebreakers and acts as a direct Nexus damage check, often ending the game the turn she is played.

Provides +1 starting mana if the champion is Titanic.

Grants +0|+3, ensuring Vi meets the Titanic requirement for Starforged Gauntlets.

Grants Formidable, allowing Vi's units to strike using her massive health pool.
Strategy
Without her 6* upgrade, Vi should rely on Strength of Stone to convert her units health into damage.

Grants Vi extra card draw, which turns into offensive power with strength of stone.

Converts Vi's high health into offensive power.

❗ Does nothing until you get some additional Health items on Vi. Grants an extra mana gem afterwards.
Deck of Destiny is a more consistent option in this slot.
Strategy
Vi is strong enough even at 3* to not need much extra help in the early parts of the Zoe adventure, especially with the extra card draw from Searing Brilliance.
This build then scales well later with SFG providing an extra mana gem once you give Vi extra stats to make her Titanic. You must pick a 4-6 cost support champion to be able to be offered stat items on Vi.

Offers necessary protection, ensuring Vi survives removal spells when relying on a board-centric strategy.
Vi's constellation upgrades significantly shift her playstyle. While her early stars focus on building a wide, high-health board that perfectly utilizes the Strength of Stone relic, her final upgrade pivots her into a burst-damage finisher. This transition is highly debated, as her 6-star power grants attack rather than health, breaking her Formidable synergy. However, it provides immense closing power when paired with Cease and Desist and Gatebreakers.

When you play a card, grant allies in hand +1|+0.Review
Grants +1|+0 to cards in hand when playing a card. This power is highly controversial because it creates anti-synergy with Strength of Stone, which relies on health scaling. It forces a complete pivot in playstyle toward a one-shot Gatebreaker build.
- Leverage Card Draw
Vi's core mechanics reward drawing cards. Prioritize adventure powers and items that reduce the cost of card draw or provide additional draws each round to rapidly scale your board's Impact and health.
- The 6-Star Pivot
Be aware that upgrading Vi to 6 stars fundamentally changes her optimal build. Strength of Stone becomes suboptimal due to the attack-only buffs from her 6-star power. You must pivot to a Cease and Desist or Gatebreaker strategy to maximize her new scaling.
