Yuumi

Epic Relics
High Investment Required
Paid Relics
Yuumi is widely considered a powerhouse, capable of trivializing high-difficulty content through unique mechanical interactions that bypass standard drawbacks. While her "Attach" playstyle is polarizing—some find it repetitive or "boring" compared to active champions—her objective power level, particularly with specific Epic relics and constellation upgrades, is undeniable.
The Untouchable Scout
Grants Scout. Uniquely, Yuumi ignores the 'Shuffle me into deck' downside when attached, allowing for permanent Scout uptime on her host unit.
Reduces Yuumi's cost by 1 for each ally in play. When attached, she avoids the 'Deal 3 to all other allies' penalty, effectively allowing her to be played for 0-1 mana with no downside.
Grants the host unit Overwhelm and +1/+1. Since Yuumi is a subtype (Fae/Yordle), this activates consistently, turning the host into a lethal threat.
Strategy
This is the gold-standard build for Yuumi. Disciple of Shadows ensures she comes down on Turn 1, while Galeforce provides the Scout keyword without recalling her. The Beast Within ensures damage connects through chump blockers. This setup ends games rapidly by attacking twice per turn with a massive, elusive, or overwhelm unit.
Phalanx Barrier Engine
Creates a fleeting 'Hex Core Upgrade' in hand each round. Targeting the host unit with this spell triggers Yuumi's 4-Star power (Phalanx), granting Barrier.
Provides Scout for double attacks. Essential for tempo and aggressive scaling.
Ensures Yuumi can be played immediately on Turn 1 to start generating Hex Core Upgrades.
Strategy
Ideal for players with Yuumi's 4-Star power. The Hex Core provides a consistent, free spell to target your ally every round, guaranteeing a Barrier via the Phalanx power. This makes your carry unit virtually immortal while stacking random keywords.
Husk Gaming (6-Star Synergy)
Used here to kill your own units (like Poros) on play if you play Yuumi as a unit, or simply for cost reduction.
Spawns a Husk when the champion kills a unit. Synergizes with strategies involving sacrificing your own board to generate stats.
Grants Overwhelm, Quick Attack, and Fury to 1-cost allies (Poros and Husks).
Strategy
This advanced build leverages Yuumi's 6-Star power, which shares the strongest ally's stats with the board. By generating Husks and buffing them to massive stats via the 6-Star effect, you can create a board of enormous units by Turn 2 or 3. This strategy often requires playing Yuumi as a unit or carefully managing unit deaths to feed Husks.
F2P Keyword Transfer
Grants Overwhelm. This keyword transfers to the attached unit.
Grants Quick Attack. This keyword transfers to the attached unit.
Grants Spellshield. This keyword transfers to the attached unit, protecting it from hard removal.
Strategy
If Epic relics are unavailable, focus on Common relics that grant positive keywords. Yuumi transfers all positive keywords on herself to her host unit. Overwhelm and Spellshield are the highest priority to prevent being chump-blocked or removed.
Other Relic Options
A strong alternative to The Beast Within. Grants Overwhelm, Quick Attack, and Fury to 1-cost units (Poros), which can be excellent early game.
Provides stats and regeneration based on Poro synergy. While usable, it is generally considered inferior to Disciple of Shadows for tempo.
Avoid 'On Summon' or 'On Play' relics like Stalker's Blade or Guardian's Orb when playing Yuumi as an attachment, as these effects generally do not trigger. Avoid relics that grant negative keywords (like Ephemeral), as these are not transferred to the host.
Constellation
Yuumi benefits significantly from high investment. Her base kit is functional, but her 4-Star and 6-Star powers transform her from a stat-stick into a game-breaking engine.

We Got This
Allies have Fated.
So Many Friends
+1 Starting Mana. Game Start: Summon two random 1 cost Poros.
We Got This II
Allies have Fated. When you target a Fated ally, grant it an additional +1|+1.
Phalanx
When you target an ally, give it Barrier this round.Review
Game-changing. 'Phalanx' grants Barrier to an ally when you target them. This synergizes perfectly with the Fated keyword and relics like Perfect Hex Core, providing near-permanent immunity to damage for your carry unit.
Manaflow
Game Start: Get a mana gem.Review
Useful for resource management (Manaflow), allowing consistent Turn 1 plays without relying as heavily on Disciple of Shadows, freeing up a relic slot for more utility or damage.
The Power of Friendship!
Round Start: Grow all allies to the Strongest ally's stats this round.Review
The 'Power of Friendship' (often referred to as a stat-checker power) synchronizes all allies' stats to the highest ally's stats. This allows for 'Husk Gaming' strategies and turns a board of small Poros into lethal threats instantly. It is a massive power spike that trivializes most encounters.
Gameplay Tips
Galeforce Interaction
Yuumi is the premier user of Galeforce because the 'Attach' mechanic overrides the relic's downside. When attached, Yuumi is not considered a unit on the board in the traditional sense, so she does not get shuffled back into the deck at the end of the round. This grants her host unit permanent Scout.
Disciple of Shadows Cost Reduction
When calculating cost, Disciple of Shadows counts allies and reduces Yuumi's mana cost accordingly. Crucially, if you play her as an attachment, the 'Deal 3 to all other allies' effect is often mitigated or irrelevant compared to the tempo gain of playing her for 0 mana on Turn 1.
Keyword Transfer Rules
Yuumi transfers all positive keywords to her host unit (e.g., Scout, Overwhelm, Spellshield, Challenger). She does not transfer negative keywords (e.g., Ephemeral, Can't Block). This allows you to use relics that might have negative keyword downsides without penalizing your carry unit.
The Hex Core Loop
If you have the 4-Star power (Phalanx), prioritizing Perfect Hex Core is a top-tier strategy. The fleeting spell generated each turn costs 0 (usually) and counts as targeting your ally. This grants them Barrier instantly at Burst/Focus speed, allowing you to attack or block safely every single turn.
Attach vs. Play
In 99% of scenarios, you should Attach Yuumi to a unit (ideally a cheap Elusive, Overwhelm, or Lifesteal unit). Playing her as a standalone unit leaves her vulnerable and fails to utilize her immunity to board wipes and removal. The only exception is specific C6 strategies involving Husks where playing her body might be necessary to generate resources.
